Don’t over complicate the activity that actually pays. The most common frustration trap that people fall into in their business is confusing activity for production. To be productive, you have to do this ONE simple thing over and over. Make a connection with people, send them to a simple message that explains your business for you, and follow up and sponsor those that “see it”. Many won’t see it, and this is not your fault. Keep showing more people.
This is the thing that most people put off because it is the scariest and brings up the most emotion. We have to reassociate this activity using pain to work for us, instead of against us. Instinctively we feel pain when it comes to the moment of actually talking to someone about what you are up to in your business. Most of the time, we buckle and put the phone back down or leave the sample at home and tell ourselves “next time”… This is THE activity that gets you paid… reassociate your pain perception to put yourself in a state that says “Imagine all the pain if I DON’T share my business with a couple people today”…
You are going to be in pain either way, why not get something out of it? There are two kinds of pain, the pain of discipline and the pain of regret. Discipline weighs a pound while the pain of regret weighs a ton. By avoiding this activity you are making a choice. The one thing we are never deprived of is a choice. By not making a choice, you are actually making a choice.
As Master Yoda says, “do…or do not…there is no trying”
